A global Day of Giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Tuesday November 28, 2017
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
“Showing people the compassion of Christ to introduce them to the salvation of Christ.”
The Rock at Noonday exists to offer hope to the homeless in Albuquerque through the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. We foster relationships by providing a lunchtime meal to a population that often goes overlooked, and we offer a way to help them get back on their feet.
We hear countless stories from those who come through our doors—of addiction, abuse, neglect, bad luck, bad choices. Far more than needing food for their stomachs, these homeless and destitute individuals need the Bread of Life—the love of Christ to transform their lives and renew their hearts. That is the only hope for any of us for real life change, and we offer it through a meal.
Last year we served more than 118,000 meals to the homeless and materially poor, and the demand has only increased. So far this year we are serving more than 370 meals every day, and we need your help. We see daily examples of the homeless problem across Albuquerque’s street corners. But through your support of the Rock at Noonday, you can help be part of the solution.
We depend on the generous support of our local community to provide these meals and services. Your donation enables us to provide tangible, life-affirming service to the homeless, hungry, and hurting in our city and provide them with the message of real hope in Jesus Christ. Please consider how you can help and partner with us today!
When you select a recurring donation, the Rock will process your gift every month using the method of payment that you identified. You can cancel or change this donation at any time by contacting us at 505.246.8001 X103
